Job Summary:
NOVA Engineering is seeking a highly experienced Engineering Quality Assurance Professional to join our team in Norcross, GA.
About the Role:
- Ensure quality control measures are in place during construction projects by conducting field testing and inspections.
- Collaborate with Construction Services and Geotechnical Project Management staff to guarantee compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Develop and implement quality assurance plans to maintain accurate records and improve processes.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding testing results and findings.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in construction testing/inspections of soil, concrete, masonry, and/or asphalt materials.
- American Concrete Institute (ACI) Field Testing - Level I certification required.
- One or more International Code Council (ICC) Special Inspector certifications preferred (Soils, Reinforced Concrete, Structural Masonry).
- Ability to lift 40-50 lbs. (field/laboratory samples and equipment) and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Willingness to travel out-of-town for short duration assignments.
