NOVA Engineering and Environmental, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Structural Inspector/Field Engineer to join our team. This role will involve conducting thorough inspections of building structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural steel reviews, including bolted and welded connections, CMU, cast-in-place concrete, reinforcing steel, post-tension cable, precast/prestressed members, wood structures, and cold-formed metals.
- Ability to read and understand project plans and specifications.
- Report data in a complete, timely, and understandable fashion.
- Ensure that all test equipment used is functioning properly and maintained as required by company and/or manufacturer's policy.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience with structural building inspections.
- ICC Special Inspector certification in three or more of the following disciplines: Structural Welding, Structural Steel and Bolting, Structural Masonry, Reinforced Concrete, Soils.
