What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Welding Inspector (Structural Steel) - CWI position at NOVA Engineering?
NOVA is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector based from our Columbia or Greenville office. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Primary duties include performing structural building inspections and QA / QC tests (masonry, reinforced concrete, structural steel, etc.).
Responsibilities :
- Perform Inspections in accordance with code and project requirements
- Interpret project plans and specifications and ensure project requirements are being met.
- Activities will include performing field testing and inspections
- Review plans and specifications, performing the inspections accordingly
- Communicate results with contractors, engineers and others
- Input results and observations into daily reports
