What are the responsibilities and job description for the CMT Laboratory Manager position at NOVA Engineering?
NOVA Engineering is currently seeking a highly skilled CMT L aboratory Manager to join our team in Tallahassee, FL . The Lab Manager will manage the lab's production and personnel and provide quality assurance / quality control lab testing duties for commercial, retail, educational, low-to high-rise, manufacturing, and government construction projects.
Essential Functions :
- Performing specific QA / QC tests on construction materials and building components such as soil, concrete, and asphalt, per ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, etc. standards.
- Maintain detailed records of observations, inspections, and test results.
- Organizing lab data, processing, and report preparation.
- Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment and workspaces.
- Manage lab personnel and maintain required certifications among the laboratory team.
- Maintaining lab accreditation.
