NOVA Exteriors is one of the leading residential home- improvement companies in the Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC area. We have completed over $25,000 projects in 30 years and have a very strong presence on Angie’s List, Google, as well as other home improvement sites.
Founded in 1995 with a specific philosophy in mind: to provide clients with superior quality and service at a reasonable, affordable price. We take pride in our work starting from the office, sales staff in the field to completion of project on-site. Our areas of expertise include Vinyl Replacement Windows, Insulated Vinyl Siding, Asphalt Roofing and Entry and Storm Doors.
We are looking for a project coordinator to join our team located in Alexandria, Virginia.
This is a multifaceted role performing a variety of home improvement project coordination and administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage siding and roofing projects using company CRM.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Strong contract management. Clerical duties such as scanning and entering information in company’s CRM.
- Excellent material procurement experience.
- Taking material deliveries.
- Collaborate with the executive team to facilitate material procurement, minimizing delays and optimizing project timelines.
- Communicate effectively with homeowners, keeping them informed of project progress from start to finish.
- Continuously seek personal and professional growth, staying updated on current design trends and industry advancements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
· Project management: 2 years (required)
· Experience in residential products or construction is preferred or equivalent experience in a similar industry.
· Strong organizational and tracking skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Persuasive communicator with a positive outlook
· Active listening and problem-solving skills
· Communicate with customers regarding price, quality & services they can expect.
· Strong math skills in estimating costs and material orders
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining superior customer service.
· Ability to work independently and produce results.
· Proficient with computers and smartphones. Ability to use and adapt to windows and cloud-based programs. MarketSharp experience a plus.
· Learns quickly and can adapt to new situations.
· Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
Other requirements:
· Valid driver’s license
· Excellent computer skills.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include knowledge of Excel, Adobe PDF, Docusign, Outlook.
