Inventory Associate
Job Types: Part-Time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Open Availability preferred
Overview: The Inventory Associate is responsible for performing the essential daily inventory management and pre-pack processes of our Recreational Cannabis products. This is a critical role in ensuring our guests receive accurate and prompt order fulfillment. In addition, our Inventory Associates are expected to work collaboratively with our Retail Associate to ensure timely backfill of our retail floor inventory. The Inventory Associate reports to the Inventory Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Fulfilling customer orders as well as receiving, handling, storing, and tracking all products
- in compliance with Cannabis Control Commission regulations
- Adhering to all policy and procedures, compliance standards, inventory standard operating procedures, receiving standards, and all operational safety and security
- protocol
- Receives, opens, counts, and unpacks products and merchandise, while checking invoices and manifests against physical items received.
- Examines all incoming product shipments and required documents to ensure quality and compliance with the state.
- Enter laboratory test results, product information, and other required information into the Point-of-Sale system in accordance with company policy and state regulations.
- Executes and maintains a clean and orderly inventory storage and distribution system.
- Communicates new product offering specifics with the management team and dispensary staff.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years Inventory experience preferred but not required
- Ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize
- Efficient with both verbal and written communication
- Mathematical aptitude, ensuring strong attention to detail and data
- Ability to work in a highly stimulated, fast-paced environment
- Experience working in an environment with a high volume of transactions
- Ability to learn and operate on software platforms and hardware related to inventory control/electronic tracking (METRC)
- Must have regular and on-time attendance, able to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, and holiday shifts, including overtime as needed and approved)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Must be at least 21 years old
