The Processor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of loan files while maintaining compliance with company standards. This role involves reviewing documentation, coordinating with borrowers and third-party vendors to gather required information, and facilitating communication between customers, underwriters, closers, and other key stakeholders to ensure a smooth loan process.

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of loan processing experience, preferably recent.
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in the mortgage industry is preferred.

- Review loan files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
- Verify system input for accuracy and ensure correct loan program applicability.
- Analyze income, assets, credit reports, verifications, appraisals, and title reports to validate loan eligibility.
- Obtain and review Automated Underwriting System (AUS) findings for accuracy.
- Communicate with borrowers to request additional documentation and review closing figures before submission.
- Provide timely status updates to loan officers, borrowers, and agents.
- Coordinate submission to underwriting, documentation requests, and satisfaction of closing/funding conditions.
- Facilitate loan closings as needed.
- Ensure files are submitted in accordance with company timelines and quality standards.
- Review pre-audit HUD-1/CD for accuracy and collaborate with loan officers and title companies to resolve discrepancies before closing.
- Prioritize workflow to efficiently manage time-sensitive files.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including federal and state guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
