Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality care to our clients in their homes. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients with various needs, including those with dementia or requiring hospice care.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
- Assist with mobility and physical support, including lifting and transferring clients safely.
- Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes to nursing staff or family members.
- Ensure client safety by adhering to established protocols regarding resident rights and first aid procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized living space for clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care or caregiving is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and first aid is highly desirable.
- Experience in dementia care or hospice care is a plus.
- Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility needs safely.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
