Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Monitor patients' health conditions and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Assist with medication management as directed by healthcare providers.
- Provide care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Support clients in mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment within the home or care facility.
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare teams.
Experience
- Prior experience in caregiving is required.
- Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and basic medical knowledge is advantageous.
- Experience working with seniors.
- Skills in assisting clients with daily tasks, cooking nutritious meals, and providing companionship are essential.
- A background in nursing or related healthcare fields is preferred.
