Overnight Caregiver

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, group homes, and in-home community care. Your primary focus will be to enhance the quality of life for residents by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Shift: 7pm - 7am

Duties
As a Caregiver, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Administering medication as prescribed and ensuring adherence to resident rights.
• Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with dietary needs.
• Providing companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Engaging residents in activities that promote mental and physical well-being.
• Supporting individuals with dementia care and other developmental disabilities.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident conditions to appropriate staff.

Experience
Ideal candidates will possess:

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus.
• Familiarity with resident rights and the ability to advocate for clients effectively.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities is advantageous.
• A compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
