Summary: Post account receivables for Nova Medical Centers
Responsibilities
- Post payments, adjustments, and reduction request in a timely and accurate manner.
- Identify and report any payment discrepancies.
- File and/or posted Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
- Send payment reminder letters.
- Post EOBs from carriers.
- Research payments without posting instructions or EOBs to determine correct line item posting.
- Respect patients’ rights to privacy and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties, as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year cash posting experience.
- 10 Key Touch accuracy and proficiency.
- Detail oriented
- Proficient computer skills.
- Communicate effectively with a diverse population.
Preferred:
Medical Billing and Coding Certificate
