Job Title: On-Call Security Guard (Flexible, As-Needed Work)
Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable, professional, and on-call security guards to join our team. This is not a full-time or part-time position—this is an on-call opportunity for those with flexible availability who can accept last-minute security assignments.
If you are looking for a set schedule or guaranteed income, this is not the job for you. However, if you are open to taking on as-needed contract security jobs, this role provides opportunities to earn extra income on short notice.
Example Assignment:
A business loses power overnight, causing an alarm system failure. A guard is needed within two hours to secure the premises until the store opens the next morning. Most assignments are similar in nature—short-term emergency security contracts.
Available Shifts:
On-call assignments can come in at any time, but some of the most requested shifts include:
- 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM Monday- Friday
- 11:30 PM – 7:00 AM Monday- Friday
- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Saturday & Sunday
- 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Saturday &Sunday
- 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Saturday & Sunday
Requirements:
- Must pass a criminal background check, driving record check, and drug test.
- Must have good moral character and professionalism.
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to arrive at job sites on short notice.
- Must be proficient in monitoring security cameras.
- Must have knowledge of fire watch procedures.
- Strong attention to detail.
- The first 90 days of work are proabationary. Must follow all policy and procedure and arrive to shifts on time.
- Previous security, law enforcement, or military experience is preferred but not required.
