NOVA Patient Care is seeking a versatile and kind Human Resources professional interested in supporting our employees and company. The ideal candidate is a business-minded professional who strives for our organizational success and wants to grow with NOVA Patient Care. Primary responsibility will be to coordinate recruitment and selection functions. Other duties include organizing and maintaining personnel files, orientation and onboarding for new employees, administration of employee benefit programs, wage and salary administration, and termination. Assist with special projects and various administrative tasks for the Executive Team and the candidate is required to maintain utmost confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the work. Duties and Responsibilities:
• HR Officer responsibilities vary a great deal, covering a wide span of tasks including dealing with benefit plans, compensation, recruiting, onboarding, employee relations and handling employee relations issues.
• Maintains personnel files and ensures they are current.
• Facilitates new hire orientations, ensuring receipts of completed documents, submission to payroll, ensures compliance.
• Submits payroll bi-weekly and manages rate changes.
• Provides reports to management upon request.
• Locks workstation and personnel file cabinets when away from desk.
• Adheres to company policies and guidelines.
• Provide general oversight of compliance.
• Provide employee support on general queries relating to HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
• Act as an intermediary and escalation point for HR issues as needed.
• Assist employees in assistance with setup: IRA, health insurance.
• Manage employee termination process ensuring a smooth process, including obtaining mailing address, processing, obtaining, and filing resignation letter, sending exit survey, notifying IT to disable access to emails/platform and notifying accounting to disable access, and schedules Exit Interview.
• Update organizational chart as necessary.
• Schedule meetings and events as needed.
• Project Support - Work on core projects and support key HR initiatives.
• Assist with day-to-day responsibilities essential to the business as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Has some knowledge of the company and the healthcare industry in general; understands the importance of one’s role in the company and potential impact on the performance; recognizes the importance of maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
