You’ll be responsible for welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, and working closely with our healthcare staff to take patient histories, collect test samples, and help with examinations. Compensation : 19 - $22 hourly
Responsibilities :
- Complete the patient’s insurance forms in their records, notating all symptoms, test results, diagnoses, treatment instructions, and prescriptions
- Document the patient’s vital signs including respiration rate, blood pressure, respiration rate, and pulse and write down the information in their chart
- Collect blood samples from patients and send to the lab for testing
- Assist healthcare staff with examinations by handing the appropriate medical instrument and supplies to the physician, positioning the patient, and helping with other tasks as needed
- Get examination rooms ready for patients by ensuring the rooms are well-stocked and at a comfortable temperature and all equipment is sterilized
- Learn clinic computer hardware and software and use them according to company policies
- Comply with patient needs at all times and ensure all questions are answered
- Organize medical records, laboratory results, and progress notes to ensure that the healthcare provider has all of the available and necessary information during patient encounters
- Assist with the Front Desk as necessary
