Nova Plastic Surgery and Dermatology is seeking an experienced, professional, and organized Front Desk Coordinator/Concierge to join our team. As the first point of contact for patients, your professionalism and attention to detail will set the tone for their experience with our practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer a multiple-line phone system, directing calls, and providing excellent customer service to patients and callers.
- Schedule appointments for providers across both Nova Plastic Surgery and Dermatology and SkinLab.
- Convert new leads into appointments and ensure proper follow-up on potential patients.
- Maintain an organized, efficient, and pristine front office environment.
- Support front office tasks such as patient check-in/check-out, collecting payments, and ensuring proper documentation.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent patient care.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA and compliance standards.
- Associate's degree or 5 years in a similar role
- Prior experience in a medical front office, receptionist, or administrative role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Professional demeanor and appearance with a customer-focused attitude.
- Experience with scheduling software or electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred.
- Ability to handle a high volume of phone calls and manage patient requests with efficiency.
- Fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
- Must be comfortable working in both Nova Plastic Surgery and Dermatology and SkinLab locations.
- Strong emphasis on a positive, professional, and supportive team dynamic.
- Must be available to work weekends (at least one weekend per month).
- Strong commitment to providing a high level of patient experience and care.
