Are you an experienced pressure washer looking for steady, hands-on work? Join our team as a Kitchen Hood Cleaning Technician and play a crucial role in keeping commercial kitchens safe and compliant. We’re looking for dependable individuals with at least two years of pressure washing experience who take pride in a job well done.
What You’ll Do
- Clean and degrease kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, fans, ducts, and vents.
- Use professional cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, wet vacs, scrapers, and degreasing agents.
- Prepare job sites by covering kitchen equipment and ensuring all safety precautions are followed.
- Perform post-cleaning inspections to ensure all work meets fire code and NFPA 96 standards.
- Work as part of a team to complete jobs efficiently and professionally.
- Drive company vehicles to job sites (if applicable).
What to Expect
- Night shift work – cleaning is done after restaurants and commercial kitchens close.
- Hands-on, physical labor – expect grease removal, tight spaces, and varying temperatures.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs, crawl, and stand for extended periods.
- Work in commercial kitchens, including restaurants, hotels, hospitals, and schools.
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years of pressure washing experience (hood cleaning experience is a plus).
- Leadership experience is a bonus but not required.
- Valid driver’s license (clean record preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Good communication skills (bilingual is a plus).
