Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LADC to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide substance abuse counseling services to individuals in need, supporting their journey towards recovery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine treatment needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions
- Utilize psychotherapy techniques and motivational interviewing to support clients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans
- Offer education and support to clients' families regarding addiction and recovery
Experience
- Experience in behavioral health or substance abuse counseling
- Knowledge of ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation
- Familiarity with social work practices in a healthcare setting
- Previous experience in a hospital or home community care environment is a plus
- Certification or working towards certification as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC)

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
