🔹 What You’ll Do (Your Role & Responsibilities)
🏥 Treatment Team Participation
✔️ Attend and contribute to daily team meetings.
✔️ Assist in training and mentoring new staff members.
✔️ Support staff in utilizing information systems effectively.
🛠️ Therapeutic Milieu Management
✔️ Facilitate process and didactic groups to educate and guide clients.
✔️ Provide crisis intervention and supportive counseling as needed.
✔️ Welcome and orient new clients to the program.
✔️ Identify early signs of relapse risks and intervene effectively.
📋 Clinical Documentation
✔️ Maintain detailed, accurate client records.
✔️ Document individual and group counseling sessions, progress reports, and key interactions.
📢 Effective Communication
✔️ Collaborate with staff, case managers, and families to ensure comprehensive care.
✔️ Provide incident reports and notify administration when needed.
✔️ Inform leadership of critical client situations requiring attention.
🧑⚕️ Individual & Group Counseling
✔️ Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for clients.
✔️ Offer compassionate, solution-oriented individual counseling.
✔️ Facilitate engaging and structured group therapy sessions to foster change.
✔️ Educate clients on relapse prevention, coping skills, and recovery strategies.
👥 Clinical Supervision & Team Leadership
✔️ Guide and support staff in providing ethical, effective counseling services.
✔️ Ensure compliance with confidentiality and professional standards.
✔️ Offer training and feedback to interns and students, helping them grow in the field.
📌 What You Need to Bring:
✅ LPC, LCDC, LCSW, or LMSW certification required.
✅ Experience in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, or mental health counseling preferred.
✅ Strong ability to engage, connect, and guide clients in their recovery journey.
✅ Effective communication, problem-solving, and active listening skills.
✅ Ability to work collaboratively within a team-focused environment.
