About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Medical Director and the Director of Clinical Networks, the Leader brings content knowledge and is an active core member of one or more Networks where they are accountable to influence and lead planning activities. This position is responsible for leading and overseeing multiple system strategic change projects and initiatives, in collaboration with identified corporate services (i.e., decision support, project management, communications, interprofessional practice, research and innovation) to achieve results that facilitate system transformation.
The Leader will work with the Director of Clinical Networks and Senior Medical Directors to develop innovations and initiatives that align with strategic plans, goals, and objectives of the Network. This position will provide support across all Network functions using an evidence-based approach to planning that supports excellence in care delivery, improvement in health outcomes, and achievement of system standards and goals established by the Network.
Working in a collaborative model with Network members, the Leader is responsible for developing consultative and collaborative partnerships with diverse stakeholders to enable and support Network priorities. They will demonstrate strong background and knowledge of the health care system, integration, system design, quality improvement, implementation science, and effective change management processes.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following :
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related discipline
- Master’s Degree in a health-related discipline, health administration, business administration or related subject
- Eligible for registration with relevant health discipline / college or association
- Certification or additional training in Quality Improvement, Design Thinking, Change Management an asset
- Certified Health Executive designation is an asset
- Minimum of 5-7 years working experience in a senior leadership or management position with relevant clinical experience in a health care environment
- Sound knowledge and skillful application of population health approaches, quality improvement methodologies, implementation science, community development, health promotion, disease prevention and management
- Demonstrates high degree of independent decision-making, self-direction, motivation, change management knowledge and team building / leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to critically analyze evidence-based practices to inform strategy development and organizational planning
- Proven project management experience
- Strategic planning and systems thinking
- Experience in program planning, coordination, service development, implementation and evaluation required
- Experience in financial planning
- Ability to analyze and interpret statistical data and monitor quality and performance indicators
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with stakeholders
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
Hours
Compensation and Benefits
45.45 - $60.39 Hourly
