Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Tanning Sales Consultant to join our team of A players at Nova Tans in Windsor, CO. As a Tanning Sales Consultant, you’ll play an essential role in delivering a top-notch customer experience in a fast-paced and energetic environment. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their tanning needs, assist them in selecting services, and provide expert recommendations. You’ll also handle cash transactions, perform reception duties, and ensure that every customer leaves with a smile.

Employment Type : Part Time Employee
Compensation Plan :
- Hourly Rate : $14.81 per hour, up to 34 hours per week max, plus commissions
- Sales Commissions : Commission Tiers available upon in-person interview Hourly Rate Pay Schedule : Biweekly payment via Direct Deposit Commissions Pay Schedule : Monthly payment via Direct Deposit (by 10th of each month)Sick
- Time : 1 hour paid sick time for every 30 hours worked. Capped at 48 hours
Roles & Responsibilities
Sales DutiesCollaborates with GM, AGM & Owners on setting team sales goalsEnsure you meet Sales PTA expectations each month (required)Administrative Duties – Shared with GM and AGMAttends and collaborates with entire team for EOM Team Meetings (required)Events – Assist as NeededPlans, executes, attends all events associated with the salonEnsure all events are staffed as neededEnsure proper marketing of eventsCommunicate to GM, AGM and Owners for collective effortEnsure events are true to brand and align with the vision / direction of the salonVerify all cleaning tasks are being completed accurately and as neededPitch in when / wherever needed for the betterment of the salon and overall customer experience / satisfactionSalon & Equipment MaintenanceOversee the upkeep of all beds / timer & computers / printers & credit card processing machineCommunicate any maintenance issues / needs to GM, AGM and OwnersKey Responsibilities :
Provide exceptional, friendly, and professional customer serviceSales and consulting with clients to recommend the best tanning, red light therapy and well-fit options, and skincare products for the clients needsHandle cash transactions, manage memberships, and ensure accurate point-of-sale processingPerform administrative duties; answering calls and client account managementMaintain a clean, inviting and well-operated salonQualifications :
Strong communication and customer service skillsSales experience and / or consulting experienceAble to thrive in a fast-paced environmentPrevious experience in the beauty, wellness, or tanning industry is a bonusHigh school diploma or equivalent required at minimumExpectations :
Reports directly to the GM or AGMWorks in collaboration with GM & AGMAssists in managing the team and salon operationsUpholds individual sales goalsEnsures Inventory AccuracyAssist in growing traffic and salesEnsure salon cleanlinessEnsure we always have adequate towels, robes and cleaning cloths on handEnsure awesome, fun and friendly customer experienceOverall organization of salonPromote & uphold a positive, welcoming, results oriented company / community cultureWork collaboratively with GM and AGM, fellow tanning sales consultants, bed techs and Owners for upcoming events and ensure proper communications are upheld to effectively and efficiently execute on said projectsCommunicate up to the GM, AGM, fellow Tanning Sales Consultants and Owners (honesty, transparency and strong / timely communication are key)Assist in making decisions for the salon and team by using company core values as the compassAssist with money managementAssist with notifying the GM and AGM when products for sale & operational supplies are neededAssist with ensuring accuracy of all paperwork and reportingAssist with ensuring that you provide at least 2 week’s notice for time off requestsAdhere to social media posting schedule and guidelines on company Social Media Accounts
