Employees scheduled to work a majority of their hours in a day during the 2nd or 3rd shift will be paid the appropriate shift differential.
- 2nd Shift: 3P – 11P …………………………………………….…. Base $1.50
- Understand and manage equipment data (serial numbers, model numbers, and important identifiers) which helps quote repairs and order replacement parts.
- Test and evaluate the mechanical and electrical operation.
- Controllers, contactors, relays, boards, and wiring.
- Structure of the industrial equipment/machinery.
- Inspect gearbox levels, motors, cables, gears, couplings, wheels.
- Repair and replace PLC and controls equipment as needed.
- Repair and replace defective parts and equipment as needed.
- Coordinate with leadership and vendors on maintenance needs.
- Ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment.
- A certificate or Associate’s degree in welding, machining, pipefitting, millwright, electronics or instrumentation or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Strong electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with OSHA/ANSI standards.
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and work at heights.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical theory for power and controls.
- Thorough knowledge of the mechanical systems of industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Thorough knowledge of simple structural elements.
- Knowledge and skill to use a variety of hand and power tools as well as shop tools.
- Understanding of the OSHA/ANSI standard (required).
- Ensure we maintain a professional, safe, productive, and compliant work environment.
- Maintain and properly store shop tools and equipment with good housekeeping.
- Communication: Effective communication is crucial. You will need to communicate and collaborate with colleagues working different shifts, ensuring smooth handovers and sharing relevant information.
- Flexibility & Adaptability: The ability to adapt to varying shift lengths and workdays (8 - 12-hour shifts and occasional weekends).
- Stamina: Often involves extended periods of activity and concentration.
- Time Management: Effective time management skills to stay focused, prioritize tasks, and maintain productivity throughout the entire shift.
- Constant standing, walking, repetitive motions, and eye/hand/foot coordination
- Frequent lifting/carrying 50lbs – 75lbs, climbing, balancing, heights, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling.
