Job Title: Trailer Assembly Team Member
Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our assembly team as a trailer assembly team member. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality trailers with exceptional service in a safe manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety: Ensure your own safety by using designated personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools designed for the task, complying with safety regulations, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Operate Equipment: Operate all power tools and machinery on the assembly line effectively and respectfully.
- Quality Checks: Perform quality checks and product inspections by completing final inspection sheets as directed by the assigned production supervisor.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily inspections on equipment prior to shift startup to ensure the safety of yourself and coworkers, as well as operational effectiveness.
- Trailers Assembly: Axle, wire, deck, and inspect trailers as assigned by the production supervisor.
- Flexibility: Assist in other areas and perform other duties as needed, working 10-hour shifts and potentially overtime, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities in directly job-related experiences.
- Physical Demands: Possess good physical stamina, able to repeatedly lift up to 51 pounds using a two-handed lift, and remain standing for prolonged periods during a shift.
- Work Schedule: Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.
- Background Check: Willing to submit a pre-employment background check.
- Quality Focus: Strong focus on quality, adhering to established standards, following detailed processes, and ensuring all work meets or exceeds quality requirements.
