In December 2021, Brightstar Capital Partners ("Brightstar"), a private equity firm focused on partnering with families, founders, entrepreneurs, and management teams, completed its acquisition of Novae LLC in partnership with the Company's two founders and senior management team. Under Brightstar’s ownership, Novae has already grown significantly in size and is poised to continue to grow.
Novae seeks a talented financial executive to serve as Chief Financial Officer. The Chief Financial Officer position will be responsible for optimizing the finance and accounting organization through implementation of best-in-class tools, systems, and processes while serving as a thought and execution partner for the CEO and the leadership team. S/He will continue to develop a high performing finance and accounting organization which will partner with the business broadly by going beyond simply reporting results. The CFO will lead an organization that provides insight into analysis on opportunities for the business to execute against.
The Chief Financial Officer will be an innovative and dynamic leader, excellent communicator and accomplished leader of high performing finance and accounting organizations. S/He must possess a strong strategic mindset and be able to effectively motivate, challenge and inspire the team, while identifying strengths and areas of opportunity for growth.
The ideal candidate will have financial leadership experience with a multisite manufacturing business of scale ($250M ) which has experienced growth. Experience as a stand-alone CFO in a private equity backed business is preferred, although exceptional candidates who have served as divisional CFOs in larger businesses will be considered.
