Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Systems Improvement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for applying multidisciplinary engineering principles and practices to improve the operation and performance of our manufacturing systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement lean manufacturing systems that reduce waste, increase throughput, and shorten lead times.
- Develop and implement job/workstation designs with a focus on ergonomics and operator satisfaction.
- Apply tooling, equipment, automation, robotics, and material handling systems to improve safety, quality, and cost.
- Lead the identification, development, and implementation of manufacturing CI initiatives with a focus on employee engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred, or a related field with relevant experience.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and other engineering software (AutoCAD preferred).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly motivated and deeply responsible.
