Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD) will be working on the modernization of ADSD data systems to provide for electronic application, enrollment, case management, and billing to serve Nevada’s most vulnerable populations. This project is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) with the goal of modernization and integration of ADSD data systems to reduce barriers and improve access to services, streamline and create efficient workflows, reduce duplication in data entry and document collection, eliminate paper and manual processes, and improve data sharing across ADSD programs. A Business Analyst is needed for the policy department to analyze, design, document and implement business processes on the introduction of new policies and procedures. To create workflow, requirements gathering, project deliverable management, testing, and training. This project is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) with the goal of modernization and integration of ADSD data systems to reduce barriers and improve access to services, streamline and create efficient workflows, reduce duplication in data entry and document collection, eliminate paper and manual processes, and improve data sharing across ADSD programs. This project must be complete by 11 / 2025 not to exceed ARPA funding period for expenditure.
Requirements
For the data modernization project, the incumbent will be responsible for the following tasks and is not limited to :
Objective : The Business Process Analyst will conduct thorough analyses and provide strategic recommendations to enhance policy management processes across the organization. This role is aimed at improving efficiency, ensuring compliance, and optimizing the effectiveness of policy development, implementation, and review.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support document discovery, tracking, and project deliverables for revising and transitioning policies to the new PowerDMS system for successful implementation of division wide standards.
- Support development of public facing documents to meet federal accessibility, plain language, and language access standards.
- Support development of documents to meet compatibility with program case management systems (format, electronic signature, size limitations, etc.)
- Improve public transparency via public facing policies.
- Improve access to services via public facing vital eligibility documents.
