PAM, Client Remediation, VDI
The Chief Information Security Officer s Office is looking for a resource to work on three
initiatives. The SA3 will work with the project team and other IT technical staff to analyze
existing data, define rules, map data, implement naming conventions, create documentation for
data clean up.
o PAM - Privileged Access Management
Define rules for cleanup and document
Server clean-up including validating server accounts, implementing naming
conventions, determine which applications are using the account.
Create documentation and mapping of the accounts, applications, and reasons
accounts are required.
Skill Set - Understanding of servers and sever accounts, ability to work with
technical staff, ability to analyze sets of data, experience creating use cases,
create technical documentation, Excel experience
o Client Remediation - Vulnerability management
Document AD Groups
Document multiple workstreams
Lead mapping sessions to identify correct data
Work with Client Tech to implement processes and procedures that come from
this clean-up effort
Remove local admin access from end points,
Utilize tool (yet to be purchased) to monitor end points
o Monitor to see what apps need elevated rights
o White list process or applications through the agent
Look to AD Groups for membership, overlap
Skill Set - Understanding end points, ability to work with technical staff, ability to
analyze large sets of data, experience creating use cases, ability to create
technical documentation and workflows, Excel experience
o VDI - Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
Create Use Cases
Document non SOM users that require access to the SOM network and provide
use cases on any allowed exceptions
Review and complete existing Excel spreadsheet of data.
Work with technical staff, application development staff, vendors
Skill Set - Ability to work with technical staff, ability to analyze large sets of data,
experience creating and following use cases, ability to create technical
documentation and workflows, ability to work with vendors to understand their
needs, Excel experience
