Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Intelligence Architect III to lead the design, development, and implementation of our enterprise-wide BI solutions. This role will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights, driving strategic decision-making, and optimizing business performance.
The BI Architect III will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand data requirements, design robust data architectures, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable BI solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop enterprise-level BI architectures, including data warehouses, data marts, and ETL processes.
- Lead the development and implementation of BI solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical requirements.
- Define data modeling standards and best practices, and ensure data integrity and consistency across all BI systems.
- Evaluate and recommend BI tools and technologies, staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize BI performance and scalability, ensuring efficient data processing and retrieval.
- Develop and maintain BI documentation, including data dictionaries, technical specifications, and user guides.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior BI team members.
- Design and implement data security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Develop and implement data quality processes and metrics.
- Work with stakeholders to define and implement KPI's and dashboards.
- Perform data analysis and identify trends and patterns to support business decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business intelligence and data warehousing.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling, ETL processes, and technologies.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with BI tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Experience with cloud-based data warehousing and BI solutions (e.g., AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery).
- Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in data modeling and architecture.
- Experience in performance tuning of BI applications.
- Experience with data integration tools.
