Serves as part of the rehabilitation care team and as an expert in developing and implementing developmental performance plans to bridge formal rehabilitation and client activity goals. The performance clinic athletic trainer is responsible for being a part of the performance team with coaching groups of athletes, adults and individuals to reach their highest levels in preparation for competition and life. Promote Novant Health within own entity as well as through community outreach initiatives and serve as an integral part of the healthcare delivery team.
Bachelors’ degree in athletic training or equivalent from a CAATE accredited program, required
Minimum of one year experience as a certified athletic trainer having participated in various administrative, educational or medical support services, required
Minimum one year experience as a performance professional in a youth, college, hosptial or professional organization
