Job Summary

Novant Health University Family Physicians is excited to announce that we are adding a new Family Physician to our remarkable primary care team! We invite all BC/BE Family Medicine Physicians to come be a part of a practice that has been proudly serving the University area for over 25 years. The team currently consist of 9 other physicians, 5 APPs, and an extensive support staff including CMAs, nurses, referral coordinator, and Pharmacist. Our office is open Monday-Friday and includes an onsite urgent care clinic open seven days per week to help ensure our patients have access to fast and reliable healthcare at any time.

For Our Primary Care Providers

• Access is a key at Novant - Novant Health encourages same day, extended hours, e-visits and video visits to deliver care where and when our patients need us.
• All of our community medicine physician leaders maintain a patient panel to remain connected to the day-to-day challenges and joys of practicing medicine.
• Many of our clinics utilize a team approach to care, whichPAsclNPss PAs, NPs, clinical pharmacy practitioners, health behaviorists andRNsinical RNs.

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
• Completion of an accredited residency program required
• For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty
  
  

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Current MD or DO license in appropriate state
• Board certification or eligibility
• Current DEA license required
