LVN/LPN Med Surg Full Time Days Position Summary:
The LPN on the Acute Care Unit (Med-Surg) is responsible for providing safe , effective, culturally appropriate and population specific care to all patients utilizing the nursing process. The LPN administers and performs required care and treatments identified on the patients individuali zed care plans in accordance with general policy, as well as in adherence to any policies and protocols specific to the nursing unit. The LPN reports to the charge nurse on the uni t during the assigned shift. Assignment is dictated by Sensus and staffing needs.

LVN/ LPN Med Surg Full Time Days Position Requirements:
- South Carolina License Practical Nursing license or multi-state license from another compact state that is within the prescribed guidelines of the S.C Nurse Practice Act.
- A Minimum of 6 months licensed nursing practice on medical/surgical unit preferred.
- Current BLS (American Heart Association Only) certification.
- Maintain competencies specific to the Med Surg Unit.
