Job Title: Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) PRN
Location: Mount Pleasant, SC
Summary
Under minimal supervision, the Radiologic Technologist performs a range of diagnostic radiographic procedures, from basic to complex, as requested by a licensed physician. This role requires professional judgment in delivering high-quality imaging services, utilizing X-ray technology to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of adolescent to elderly patients. The technologist is expected to adhere to established competencies within the designated introductory period and perform additional related duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality diagnostic orthopedic radiographs in accordance with physician orders and imaging protocols.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during procedures.
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Accurately document and maintain patient records within the imaging system.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
- Uphold professional and ethical standards in accordance with organizational policies.
- Required: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program
- Preferred: Associate degree
- Experience Preferred: 1-3 years in a clinical setting
- Required: ARRT certification or registry-eligible (must obtain ARRT certification within one year post-graduation)
- Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
