Job Details
An experienced traveler is needed for this contract and must have excellent critical thinking and trouble-shooting skills, and he / she will be alone at night, responsible for hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients.
Minimum Years of Experience : 1

Skills : Need acute hemodialysis experience, Baxter peritoneal dialysis experience

ACLS (preferred)
Minimum 1 year of experience in acute hemodialysis
Traveler experience required
Schedule Information
Shift : 12 Hour NIGHTS. 36 hours only - 6p-6a
Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend required.
RTO : 7 days MAX
Unit Specific Information
Acute Hemodialysis unit 9 stations and one isolation station.
ICU / PCU and bedside treatments 1 : 1 (patients on ventilators, titratable IV drips, airborne isolation). Must be proficient to set up, cannulate access or central venous catheter, initiate, monitor, and discontinue dialysis.
Additional Details
Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster.
Days off may be arranged as schedule allows due to department need.
