Certification Details ACLS BLS NIH Stroke Certification Job Details Registered Nurse position at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center Caring for patients across the inpatient spectrum from medical surgical, cardiac, progressive care / step down, and stroke. Minimum 3 years of experience required. Traveler experience : unit does NOT accept first-time travelers. Job Requirements ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required BLS - Basic Life Support required NIH Stroke Certification required Minimum 3 years of experience required Traveler experience : unit does NOT accept first-time travelers. Schedule Information Nights, 36 hours only Every other weekend required Float requirement : Yes, candidates will float to various units as needed. Unit Specific Information Unit orientation : 24 hours Scrubs : Navy Additional Details RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Candidates will float all medical / surgical floors, PCUs, cardiac floors, rehab, BHH, PACU, and inpatient holding space for ED. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty, or disaster.
