Job Details
Registered Nurse position in Neuro Intensive Care Unit at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center.
Minimum 2 years of experience required, with strong neuro experience preferred.
Unit accepts first-time travelers and locals.
Job Requirements
ACLS certification required.
BLS certification required.
NIH Stroke certification required due to facility's specialization in stroke care.
State licensure in North Carolina required.
Schedule Information
36 hours per week offered.
12-hour night shifts from 18 : 45 to 07 : 15.
Every other weekend required.
Unit Specific Information
Ratios of 2 : 1, can flex to 3 : 1 in high census situations.
Unit orientation of 24 hours, either 2 days or 2 nights.
Additional Details
RTO after booking is not allowed.
Must pass EKG testing prior to start.
Strong neuro critical care background is essential.
