Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure product quality and safety
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspection findings and outcomes
- Provide training and guidance on quality control procedures
- SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF QUALITY CONTROL PROCEDURES
- Demonstrate quality control and inspection expertise through relevant work experience
Key Skills and Abilities:
- Measurement tools and equipment usage, including CMMs with metrology software like PC-DMIS
- Decision-making based on analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment
- Manual dexterity and proficiency in handling inspection tools and equipment
- Visual acuity for detecting defects and performing detailed inspections
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and reach, bend, and stoop during inspections
Travel Requirements:
- OCCASIONAL TRAVEL MAY BE REQUIRED (10-20% OF THE TIME)
- Visit supplier sites, customer locations, or company facilities to conduct inspections, audits, and quality assessments
- Adjust travel plans on short notice to address urgent quality issues or support critical projects
