Position Details
Synrad creates Manufacturing and Laser Engineers using a development program called "14 Wolves". This program trains the future leaders of Synrad. Candidates with no laser experience will be taught to build, align, test, use, and design lasers. Engineering, manufacturing, and business skills covered in the program are : Laser manufacturing, Engineering Change process, Project Management, Quality Control, and Continuous Improvement best practices.
The program's first year involves working on the production team, rotating through laser tube assembly, laser assembly, laser alignment, and Quality Control.
The second year, the candidate puts their laser knowledge to use by leading engineering changes, participating in process improvement through Kaizen, and project management to improve Synrad's products and processes.
R&D team, contributing to the design, implementation and testing of complex laser based products under the guidance and supervision of a staff scientist. They will participate in new product development projects and the support of the existing product.
