About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer to take on a challenging role in our organization.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Performing engineering studies, including product and process qualification, under the guidance of the Quality Systems Manager.
- Reducing variation through the implementation of effective quality techniques.
- Analyzing data from studies and daily activities to create action plans for improvement and permanent corrective action.
- Assisting in the improvement of systems to increase efficiency, reduce loss, and achieve department and company goals.
- Guiding all departments in the creation and implementation of corrective/preventive actions addressing internal and external issues.
- Participating in quality planning activities ensuring submission of new products for customer approval.
- Developing and maintaining supplier quality programs, including the review of purchased part approvals and initiating activity involving defect issues.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in quality assurance and control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
