Job Overview
The Senior Manager of Supply Chain and Logistics leads the optimization of logistics operations, focusing on cost reduction and strategic planning. This role involves coaching SAP users, managing managers, and implementing LEAN manufacturing principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Management
- Coaching SAP users across the logistics spectrum, utilizing extensive SAP knowledge to optimize logistic functions.
- Oversight of key performance indicators (KPIs) including on-time delivery, production attainment, backlog management, exception shipments, and Days on Hand of Inventory (DOHC).
- LEAN Manufacturing and Strategic Planning
- Implement LEAN manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with organizational objectives, optimizing logistics operations.
- Navigating Challenges
- Address and manage disruptions such as Stop & Go scenarios.
- Prioritize supply base to effectively manage cash flow, emphasizing stock reduction and efficient cash flow generation.
