Job Overview
The Senior Manager of Supply Chain and Logistics oversees automotive supply chain operations, optimizing logistics costs through analysis and strategic planning. This role involves coaching SAP users, managing managers, and implementing LEAN manufacturing principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Management
- Define and deploy supply chain policies aligned with Tier 1 automotive standards.
- Oversight of key performance indicators (KPIs) including on-time delivery, production attainment, backlog management, exception shipments, and Days on Hand of Inventory (DOHC).
- LEAN Manufacturing and Strategic Planning
- Implement LEAN manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with organizational objectives, optimizing logistics operations.
- Navigating Challenges
- Address and manage disruptions such as Stop & Go scenarios.
- Prioritize supply base to effectively manage cash flow, emphasizing stock reduction and efficient cash flow generation.
