We are actively recruiting for a Maintenance Manager for our Janesville, WI Production Plant. In this role you will have complete responsibility to make decisions and take action so that established standards and practices in the Maintenance Department are maintained. Directs and manages the work of the maintenance team. Key responsibilities in this position include :
Living the safety / environmental stand and ensuring safe maintenance practices
- Leads comprehensive and strict execution for safe maintenance work in accordance to OC standards
- Partners with cross-functional teams to support, improve, and enforce various safety programs at the plant
- Prioritizes and executes environmental, health, and safety hazard elimination
Leading, Developing and Executing Maintenance Strategies
Serves as full owner of all maintenance strategies and plans; focused on meeting business needsPrepares capital budget forecasts and effectively manages all capital projects / installations holding to committed results and outcomesLeverages both internal and external resources and experts to improve and extend service life of current and new equipmentDrives continuous improvement, lead root cause failure analysis, and implement countermeasures in accordance with once and done strategiesUses analytics to identify opportunities in maintenance costs and machine performanceLeading and Developing Talent
Ensures maintenance employees are well trained and current on any required certifications to perform the full scope of their job expectationsEstablishes clear and measurable performance expectations and holds team members accountable for delivering the goalsRegularly evaluates the strengths and development opportunities of the team, as well as invests in the growth and development of team members to achieve sustained successEffectively staffs the team by leveraging the appropriate mix of internal and external talent to satisfy both near-term performance and long-term succession needsLeading across the plant / division

Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Engineering) and 5 years of experience or, demonstrated work equivalent.Previous manufacturing experience required; plastics and automotiveDemonstrated team facilitation skills and success in implementing process improvements in conjunction with employee work teams. Must have experience managing multicultural teams across a 3 Shift 24 / 6 Operation.Proficiency with utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)Ability to operate and communicate effectively in person, over the telephone, and in groups, under normal and stressful conditions.Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop the maintenance team. Good interpersonal, organization and communication skills.Previous experience(s) carrying out managerial responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, selecting and training employees; planning, assigning, supervising and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Must demonstrate strong decision-making skills, sound judgment and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment.Previous experience / proficiency with SAPDemonstrated knowledge of OSHA Safety Fundamentals in a manufacturing environment.Must have strong safety culture background. Demonstrated clear and strong commitment to promote worker safety.
