What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Specialist position at Novaserv Service Professionals?
NOVASERV represents clients in the Extended Service Plan industry by providing excellent marketing services and sales nationwide to each of our customers. We are a marketing company that has more recently, opened up a contact center to add to our existing marketing efforts for our clients. We are looking to fill Account Specialist positions. The Account Specialist position will engage customers on outbound & inbound opportunities as a part of a team that is seeking to be the best in the industry.
Account Specialist:
The Account Specialist is responsible for handling outbound & inbound sales calls.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Represent our clients by providing excellent sales through outbound & inbound sales opportunities of new and renewed extended service plans
- Take inbound & outbound calls and respond to customer emails, faxes, scans, etc.
- Check, listen to, track & call back voicemails daily & follow-up with those customers until completed
- Follow-up with customers when needed
- Provide customers with product and service information through a scripted sales strategy
- Process credit card payments
- Data entry and process payments for all sales & payment made daily through POP, Script App, WS Database, etc.
- Communicate professionally with customers through phone and email using excellent follow up skills
- Research required information using available resources
Prerequisites include but not limited to the following:
- Character: Integrity and the ability to work in a team environment are a must
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required, some college experience preferred
- Computer Skills: Ability to navigate through and be proficient in several programs/systems simultaneously, including browsers, email, script, Word, Excel and proprietary database software
- Multitasking: Excellent multitasking skills is a must – will be required to work off multiple screens/databases/scripts at the same time while making sales pitch to customers
- Focus: Positive attitude, the ability to work with a team and the desire to succeed with self-motivation

Current Opening:
- PT – M-F, 10am- 5pm, $15 - 18/hr Incentive opportunities
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.5 per week
