Job Summary
The Security Engineer plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing security tools that protect IT and operational technology (OT) environments. This role ensures the availability, integrity, and effectiveness of security solutions. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with a strong technical background and a passion for cybersecurity innovation.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Research, evaluate, and conduct proof-of-concept testing on new and emerging security technologies.
- Design, deploy, and maintain a robust security toolset to protect enterprise assets.
- Provide documentation, training, and support to team members on security tool usage.
- Manage and monitor Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) data collection.
- Develop custom reports and dashboards to enhance security visibility and decision-making.
- Automate routine security tasks using scripting and orchestration tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security controls align with business objectives.
- Experience with managing SIEM platforms such as Elastic, Splunk, or LogRhythm is required.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such Python or PowerShell for automation is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and patch management solutions is highly desirable.
- Experience with Enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms such as Okta or Ping Identity is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of cloud security, zero-trust principles, and modern security frameworks is advantageous.
