This is a unique opportunity to work one-on-one with motivated students in a personalized and supportive remote setting. We're looking for someone with expertise in coaching students for writing competitions and helping them hone their skills for success.
Responsibilities:
- Writing Competition Coaching: Prepare students for writing competitions by focusing on creative writing techniques, structure, and contest-specific requirements.
- Customized Lessons: Tailor coaching sessions to each student’s strengths and areas for growth, helping them develop problem-solving strategies and competition-specific skills.
- Track Progress: Regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust instruction to ensure continuous improvement.

Who We’re Looking For:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Experience: 1 year of recent or current tutoring or teaching experience.
- Expertise in Publishing (Preferred): Experience with publishing in writing competitions is highly preferred, as it will allow you to offer targeted coaching in both strategy and presentation.
- Communication Skills: Clear and effective communicator, able to connect with students of various learning styles.
- Reliable Technology: Must have a reliable internet connection and be computer literate.
- Commitment: Willingness to commit to at least one semester.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background check.
