Job Description
We are seeking a legal assistant with a minimum of 3 years IP litigation experience in federal and state courts to work with several Shareholders in our IP Litigation Practice Group. We are specifically looking for a candidate who has experience in both federal and state court litigation, is meticulous, pays attention to detail, has exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work directly with clients.
Legal Assistant Duties
General legal assistant duties, including managing various correspondence, agreements, contracts, pleadings and discovery.
Assist in creating, revising, proof reading and finalizing documents, including correspondence, pleadings and discovery.
Regular telephone contact, email, and direct interaction with clients.
Maintain organized electronic files.
Electronically file documents in State and federal courts.
Maintain electronic litigation dockets.
Communicate with court officers and opposing counsel on behalf of the attorneys.
Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings and appointments.
Prepare expense reimbursements for attorneys and assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
