About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team and contribute to optimizing our production processes.
This position focuses on creating efficient programs for CNC lasers and punches while collaborating with various departments to resolve production challenges.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop nests and programs for CNC lasers and punches.
- Collaborate with account managers and production staff to address production issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Track and manage time effectively while adhering to deadlines.
- Optimize machine utilization and efficiency through job organization.
- Stay open to learning and adopting new techniques from seasoned programmers and operators.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED (Trade School/Vocational Training preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience programming CNC sheet metal lasers and punches.
- Proficiency in MetaCAM required; familiarity with Trumpf Boost is a plus.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and computer proficiency.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
