About the Role:
The Superintendent will oversee and coordinate subcontractors and trade partners to ensure safe, high-quality, and timely project completion within budget. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining positive client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and enforce a strong safety culture on-site.
- Manage daily project activities, including scheduling, quality control, and budgeting.
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and adherence to project plans.
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain compliance with regulations.
- Oversee project turnover, mobilization, and closeout.
- Prepare daily reports and documentation.
Requirements:
- 10 years of commercial/industrial construction management experience.
- Experience with steel erection and equipment installation.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Primavera, Excel, Word, and MS Project.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
- Willingness to travel across the southeastern U.S. for industrial projects.
- Experience managing medium to large projects ($5M–$25M ) preferred.
