Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Estimator - Structural Steel to join our team. As a key member of our preconstruction department, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality estimates and ensuring the success of our projects.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for Heavy Civil, Highway, and Vertical Construction projects
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and risk factors
- Develop full-scope estimates for Bid-Build, Design-Build, and Progressive Design-Build projects
- Prepare technical proposals and collaborate with teams on cost estimates and subcontractor/vendor pricing
Requirements
- BS in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering
- 15 years of Preconstruction/Estimating experience in Civil/Site Construction, Structural Systems, Heavy Civil, Highway, and Transit Structures
- Proficiency in estimating software (OnScreen Takeoff, Bluebeam, AutoCAD 3D, HCSS Heavy Bid)
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
