Job Title: Roadway Design Engineer (Infrastructure team)
Location: Opelika, Al
Salary: $80k - $120k DOE ( Bonus)
The Company
A leading firm is seeking a civil engineer with expertise in Roadway design to oversee projects. In this position, you will collaborate closely with the design team to create high-quality engineered plans using Civil3D.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading project quantity Take-offs to establish goals, expectations, and deliverables.
- Designing roadway drainage systems.
- Design of signage required for project construction.
- Layout of pavement markings for traffic guidance.
- Implementation of erosion control measures to prevent soil displacement.
Your Experience
- 4 years of Engineering experience.
- Experience adapting to different design software.
- Experience with OpenRoads or similar Cad software.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) License
