Salary: $77,000 - $100,000
Location: East Dallas, TX
Core Function:
To be responsible for designing all aspects of metal building systems, from structural steel and wall panels to secondary members and stability bracing.

Responsibilities:
- Develop safe, cost-effective, and high-performing structures that meet the specific requirements of each project, adhering to industry codes and standards.
- Use proprietary software to analyze structural elements, including frames, bracing, mezzanines, crane systems, and panels.
- Work closely with the Detailing Department and other key team members to communicate design requirements clearly and efficiently, ensuring smooth project execution and delivery.
- Review and verify structural drawings for accuracy, ensuring that every design meets both client specifications and internal quality standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
- Focused education in structural engineering.
- Basic understanding of building construction and industry practices.
- Familiarity with building codes and standards.
- Experience in pre-engineered metal building systems is a plus.
