Summary of Position:
Welcome and warmly greet guests on arrival. Manage the efficient and timely seating of our guests. Maintain reservations and table assignments while also greeting walk-in parties and discussing availability. Monitor the call button and approve entry for reserved guests. Cordially seat guests and keep service team informed of guest flow. Guide departing guests to the exit, open door for them, and offer a heartfelt farewell. Compensation is an hourly rate plus share of service charge.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival.
• Confirm reservations by phone prior to each shift.
• Engage, list, and manage walk-ins whenever there is availability.
• Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible.
• Upon seating, deliver menus and inform the server team that guests have been seated.
• Relay messages to service team as needed.
• Help to clean tables and the room in general.
Qualifications:
• Must possess excellent organizational skills and be able to multi-task
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in the predominant language(s) of our guests.
• Must have exceptional grooming habits.
